Jewelry Labels Maker (the "App"), operated by VoLab, is a Shopify app that generates printable barcode labels for jewelry products. This policy explains what data we handle and how.

1. Who we are

Jewelry Labels Maker is a Shopify app that lets merchants create jewelry-sized barcode labels and download them as print-ready PDFs. The App runs as an embedded app inside your Shopify admin.

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed for the App to function:

  • Your shop domain and app session tokens — required to authenticate your shop and keep the app working.
  • Label templates and settings you create — dimensions, field toggles, and your default template.

3. Information we do NOT collect

  • No customer personal data. The App never reads or stores your customers, orders, or storefront visitors.
  • No product data is stored. Product and variant details are read from Shopify on demand and discarded after your labels are rendered.
  • No advertising trackers. We don't sell data or share it with third-party advertisers.

4. Analytics

We use PostHog for store-level product analytics (for example, how many label batches are generated), tied to your shop domain. This helps us understand how the App is used. It does not include customer personal data.

5. How we use your information

Your shop domain and templates are used solely to provide the labeling features. Barcode and PDF generation happen in your browser, not on our servers.

6. Sharing and data processors

We rely on Shopify as a data processor to access the product information you select. Shopify's own privacy practices apply to data within your Shopify account.

7. Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall the App, your sessions are removed immediately and your templates and settings are deleted within 48 hours via Shopify's mandatory data-redaction webhook.

8. Your rights

We comply with Shopify's data-protection requirements, including GDPR. On request, we delete any data associated with your shop. Because we store no customer data, most customer data requests are handled entirely within Shopify.

9. Cookies

The App itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Shopify may set cookies as part of its standard admin functionality.
